My main gripe is that this kinda silences a player when teams clearly leak info to the public with intentions of bettering their stance. If players can’t do it then teams shouldn’t be allowed to either.

 

Its just a dumb thing for a player to do publicly anyway, tell Portland you'll only play for Miami all you want but don't let the rest of the world know. Now Miami is in a position where they don't have to make a competitive offer because they're the only team making an offer and this whole thing is getting dragged on and on.
