I also suspect that there is some aspect of "show" Dan in there as well. Like most of that show is just an on-going bit and not serious ever, particularly if its not one of their guests they have on that are actually sports knowledgeable

If Morey can pull an elite wing out of his hat for Harden, I'd be very happy. But I do not see how that would happen.

 

Could probably get Lavine pretty cheap, would be a fun team.

 

Sixers/Clippers/Bulls deal could work out.

Sixers could send Harden/PJ to LA. A future first to Chicago. Clippers could route Norm to Chicago along with Morris. Lavine to Philly.

Bulls would probably want another pick. And idk if Harden/PJ would get Clippers to send a first rounder out

 

I think that framework makes sense, but I'm not sure if Chicago would want Norm's contract. Might need something like Mann/RoCo (expiring) or Batum (expiring) instead. Don't know if the Clippers would be willing to part with Mann or a pick.

 

Chicago's in such a weird spot. DeRozan is in the last year of his deal, but they also just extended Vucevic and it's pretty obvious the current roster isn't that good without Lonzo, and who knows if he'll ever be the same.
