I’ve read a few articles about the Cup/tournament thing and I just can’t wrap my head around it. The articles go into these weird details about how the groups were picked and blah blah blah but like… it takes place during the regular season, so are teams still playing 82 games? Are they playing MORE games? It looks like every team is in this thing but the groupings are different from the divisions? Is it supposed to incentivize stars/teams from doing “load management”? There are bonuses tied to who wins the tournament I think?

 

The winners of the in season tournament are gonna get clowned so bad if they celebrate
