I've seen the rumored two year max deal for FVV floated in a few places here, and I wonder if we'll start to see more short-term or partially guaranteed deals with the new CBA. An interesting wrinkle that hasn't been discussed as much is that teams are required to use at least 90% of their available cap space each year. A shorter commitment is better for someone like Houston who's going to have a bunch of guys due for extensions at the same time in the next few years.

 

Yeah, pretty much why im fine with a 2 year overpay for FVV, anything longer would be dumb
