Van Vleet on the Rockets never made sense to me, didn’t they draft Thompson to be a point guard? Think they’re much better off with a fun young lineup than a past their prime lineup.

Amen / Green / Whitmore / Jabari / Sengun

is way more fun than Van Vleet, Harden, and Brook.

 

They need vets in there lol. Fred is a solid vet that can be off ball as well and him and Amen can probably play well together and Amen can learn a bit too.

Brook we need for defense, love Sengun but at the moment a defensive big would be awesome.

 

Not that they should overpay FVV, but that roster is in desperate need of some veteran leadership, too.

 

If it’s just a 2 or 3 year deal then that’s perfect. They have to use at least 50 million in cap space this off season so spend it on big but short deals on vets that would be great.

Completely agreed with that. And I'm a big FVV/Brook fan - a short deal for both could be huge for the organization.
