on the other side of this are the players who get traded from the team that ultimately wins the title that year - depending on when they were traded, they still get a ring. At least I think that’s how it works/worked (maybe it’s changed) for the NFL.

Imagine being traded in week 5 and your former team wins the title and a championship ring shows up in the mail a few months later. The hell you do with that? Hope no one notices and tell people you won a title?

Edit: feel like recently this happened in football where the players former team and current team were in the Super Bowl so no matter what he was getting a ring. Imagine losing to your former team but still getting a ring because you were technically part of the team that season lol

Murray has got to be an all star next year, even if he has a slow start again.

 

I love this. It's a little thing, but it always disappoints me when guys walk off without shaking hands after a loss. Playing sports is supposed to be fun, and while there's obviously a difference between a middle school and NBA game, that shouldn't be a reason to forgo little formalities like sportsmanship.

 

I absolutely think Murray has all-star talent, but it's also hard to say who he should be above at the top in the West to earn the selection. His best seasons were 2020-2021 (before he got hurt), and this year.
It's obviously laughable how low he is on these lists and some of the people ahead of him are a fucking joke, but it's hard to knock off Curry, Dame, Luka, etc. There's just so many good guards in the West. If he played in the East, he'd be a multiple time all-star selection by now

 

This is a little egregious because of how it’s laid out. For example: Thunder are the favorites for Middleton IF not Milwaukee. It doesn’t take their original teams into account. Most of these players will stay with their teams
