    Nope. Supporter

You can criticize Philly for hiring Doc and passing on Tatum (somewhat), but it’s revisionist history to clown on them for drafting Simmons. He was seen as the top guy of that draft by many

Simmons was absolutely the right pick.

Fultz should have been, too. Just a completely bizarre situation (in a franchise that specializes in completely bizarre situations).

I can't fault them for making either pick at the time. Recency bias makes it easy to forget how good Simmons looked in college and in his early Sixers tenure. Sadly, I think his issues now are more mental than physical.

As for Fultz, he was such a versatile scorer before the TOS started to flare up. He could do it from all three levels, and it looked so effortless. As a Magic fan I've seen a lot of him the last few years, and he's been using totally different shooting mechanics for his mid-range than from three. The latter is a weird push, while the former looks a lot like his college shot. That said, he busted out a normal looking three point shot in the last game of the year, and I'm cautiously optimistic. I think he can physically shoot like he used to, but like Simmons he has a mental block.
