    Lets Go. Prestigious

is he bad now? I thought he was still good

  2. He is 32 years old and has been hurt majority of the last 2 seasons.

He's still solid but not what he used to be.

  4. Can he play 3-4? Could be a colbert special.

Is Caleb Farley the best CB in the draft? I really like Surtain and think he would do well in Fangio's defense.

    66.6 amirite

  10. Yeah, I'm not arguing Fields over Lawrence lol

I just think people are way overthinking it on him.

I had no idea it was those two.

QB B just had too few games and not enough of a jump in statistics to justify it. Because he had much less games one huge outlier for him greatly helps his per game stats.

  12. Counter argument is that Fields' best season is (statistically) better than Lawrence's best season. And his "down season" (which came during a pandemic) basically matches Lawrence per game during in 2020.

Lawrence, Wilson, then Fields for me. But if someone wanted to run a more mobile offense then I wouldn't balk at Fields over Wilson. Now if they took Lance over Fields...that is weird.

  14. 272.72 passing yards per game
    2.4 passing TDs per game
    67.5 comp %
    0.52 INT per game
    167.95 RTG

That would be Lawrence over his last two seasons, 25 games, which helps with the sample size argument a little bit.

Trevor Lawrence, Zach Wilson, Justin Fields, Mac Jones, Kyle Trask, Peyton Ramsey, Ian Book, Dustin Crum, Trey Lance. In that order.

  16. Lawrence
    Fields
    WIlson
    Jones
    Lance
    Trask

I think Fields has the tools but its hard to make guys who are essentially one read QBs in college become good NFL pros

    lol @ Rodgers numbers

    absurd

  19. Yeah, and that's why Lawrence is still the clear #1 guy. I just think people undervalue Fields a little bit.

He's getting prospect fatigue like Watson and not hype like RG3.

    The rivalry is back on

I would demand my GM be fired on the spot if they picked Ian Book over Trey Lance

  22. I think Fields needs to walk into a situation like Carolina who has 2 really solid receivers (maybe 3 if we figure out a way to keep Samuel) and CMC plus Joe Brady calling plays. I mean, you can argue that for any QB coming out of college I guess. But Lawrence will be able to make poor weapons look good. He can get drafted anywhere and be fine. He is polished and ready to go now. Fields, and the others, will need a little help at the start.

But I agree with Elf. Lawrence is easy #1, I’d probably go Wilson 2 but he and Fields are 2 and 2a. And then Lance 4, a big ole gap, and then Jones and Trask at 5 and 6 with grades below where they likely get picked (or grades in line with where they’re picked and the media guys are just overhyping them)

  24. JRShoenberger

    there is one way out

    Thought he was bad though?
