that’s not what brought the team together and made them consistent though. They were the sixth ranked defense. I distinctly remember times when the Jags and Browns had the sixth ranked defense and still won 5 or fewer games. It wasn’t like “take you to the Super Bowl” level, LOB / ‘00 Ravens type defense

Idk a team that features those 9 picks alongside Myles Jack, Josh Allen, C.J. Henderson, DJ Chark, Laviska, James Robinson etc etc etc is probably at least appearing in a Super Bowl or two over those rookie contracts. That doesn't sound fun?
