B99 is really good but I’m not that far into it. Tuca & Bertie is great.

If you want to expand “show”, Cowboy Bebop and Adventure Time are incredible animated shows

Nah Michael actually has pivotal motives and drives the plot whereas Parks and Rec could’ve literally not had Ansari in it at all

Did loudermilk just get cancelled right after they finished filming the season?

Excellent show but for Bill Lawrence productions Clone High and Ted Lasso might be more deserving

  7. Adventure Time is one of the most rewarding television viewing I’ve ever experienced

My opinion on Scrubs is everyone else's on the Office - the first three seasons were perfection and then it got too silly

I think post-Brendanawicz Parks is about as good a show as Ive seen. Season 2 of Parks is all sorts of problematic, but it sets up the best character arcs that follow. But getting rid of that creepy ass dude as a main character and going with Ben/Chris instead is such an insane upgrade

Also JJ Abrams might be in contention for my least favorite director/writer/show runner so I can’t get behind Lost

Bebop is one of my favorites. Samurai Champloo too

There’s a solid mix of silly and heartfelt throughout the show, particularly seasons 5 and 8

  13. Small sample size for the latter two even tho Ted Lasso is my current favorite show and Clone High is iconic - excited to see how the reboot does

but the Dr. Cox/rabies arc is some of the most beautiful sad and funny television ever

  14. Scrubs was always silly with how it was framed with its protagonist

  15. Lost sucks
    Ted Lasso forever
Fresh Prince of Bel Air best 90s comedy and one of the only ones that holds up

Yeah I’d probably put Scrubs in my top 10 sitcoms but initially I was listing shows that could compete with FNL and I had to cut off somewhere

  17. Yeah getting Adam Scott and Rob Lowe is one of the best casting decisions in sitcom history - totally changed the trajectory of the show

Need to circle back to this. Season 1 was great, and it amazed me that a show could be so slow yet capture attention.

This is gonna be on the list with B99 of shows that are my personal favorites, but that probably arent gonna hold up as well 20 years from now. B99 for its jokey cop stuff early on; Justified might hold up better because its western-style, so having a hot-headed lawman fits, but definitely some sketchy stuff

For sure. Seasons 4, 5, and 8 all have great episodes and I still like them, but I definitely preferred the show in its earlier seasons, tonally. I liked it when they were nobodies in the hospital instead of the ones running it.

JJ watt got released and there were 8 posts about it, someone said The Office sucks and we're three pages deep.

There are some heavy hitters I haven’t seen
    Justified
    Deadwood
    Hannibal

Also if you want to reach back before the 90s there are some contenders
    Hill Street Blues
    The Twilight Zone
Star Trek (I’ve only seen OS)

    hahahahaha

I think it’s kinda funny how little people actually talk about the best defensive lineman of our generation

being a Texan killed his legacy. Woof.
