I think that was true in like 2016. Today...not a chance. A 33yr old dude whose last venture was failing to hit the mendoza line in single A baseball doesnt strike me as a dude who has any actual athletic upside. And the other reason you'd bring him in, playbook familiarity, is also something thats a decade+ on.

If he's there to sell jerseys and bring people to actually watch camp, cool...but I'd like to believe their #1 pick is probably capable of that
