    there is one way out

I saw some stuff on him today and he looks legit.

I want Pittsburgh to do well this season, but on the other hand I’d love for us to not do well and get a great QB pick next draft.

It’s better to wait for 2023, the qb group will be better

    @spiffa0

Just tagging here cause it’s late... I wonder if it’s just smarter / cheaper for me to rent a car on the way home.

Would also be easier for me to bring home the bass on top of luggage I arrived with.

Malik Willis almost took Liberty to a perfect season last year. Wouldn't be surprised if they're ranked and undefeated going into their late season games this fall against Ole Miss and the Ragin' Cajuns.

    He's legit.

Malik Willis is pretty decent, but he's got a lot wrong with him on tape, that said, so do most QB's coming out. After the dust settles I think it'll be Ridder / Slovis / Howell / Willis / Rattler that dominate the class, with MAYBE three going in the first. I'm not even sure what teams are going to be super QB needy as of right now.

Probably will need a QB: Steelers, Falcons, Eagles, Football team, Saints(?)

Demand drives value, we'll see I guess. There are some flat studs at nonQB positions in next years draft so I could see teams passing on them to roll with whatever young guy they have.

Apparently the Saints were trying to trade up for Mac Jones but the Jets beat them to it for AVT.

Mac Jones, Jameis Winston, and Taysom Hill. Inspiration to dadbods everywhere.

    The rivalry is back on

I feel like this is more ammo to say how objectively bad of a football move the Jets’ trade up was in terms of draft value and positional value that they gave up more to move up and get a guard than a team could give to get a QB, but I still find myself liking that trade up a lot even though I know it’s “wrong”

    The rivalry is back on

Now that the QBs have landing spots, I feel like I can more accurately say how much I like their pro chances (without having seen them play a game)

    1) Lance -> I don’t know if there’s a better situation to land in than SF and if they keep Jimmy G, he might even get a redshirt year or half year or something and he might be the player who benefits most from that

    2) Lawrence -> I think Urban Meyer is going to hinder this team’s roster management more than help, but one thing he’s definitely going to do is get playmakers for Lawrence at the expense of other needs. Also, Lawrence is good enough to smooth over those blips

    3) Wilson -> hopefully this NYJ rebuild is the one where they can match a good supporting cast with a QB that won’t crack under the NYC pressure. They seem to be on the right track for the first part, but we’ll see

    4) Jones -> NE threw a bunch of money at skill position players but they’re still below average there, but this seems like the higher end of landing spots he could have landed in if McDaniels is truly a top tier OC

    5) Fields -> the more I think about this, the more I hate this for him. He basically has one year to grasp an NFL offense and turn Chicago into a serious playoff contender, and if he doesn’t, they probably clean house next year and he’s a highly drafted QB who is a product of a different regime, and that rarely works out well for the QB

I’d say more BOB before the wheels came off in Houston than Grigson, but yeah, that’s my gut

I think meyer is a much better coach than bob, I’d be really surprised if that was the problem but who knows

  24. whitenblue88

    The rivalry is back on

I will still die on the hill that BOB was an above average coach and it was everything else that did him in. You have to be at least a pretty good coach and make the playoffs 3 straight years with the level of QBs the 2014-2016 Texans had. And that was coming off the heels of somehow being passable with the near death penalty Penn St

He was an abysmal and super predictable playcaller, don’t think meyer is anything like that
