The Colts are weird - they didn’t sign anyone and specifically said they wanted to address LT in the draft and then they don’t take one and say that they were taking BPA (except they were probably an island of one having Dayo as the clear best player available at that pick in the second — not that there were any particularly good tackle choices on the board at that point anyways)

*hopefully* this is like EDGE last year when they got Justin Houston late and they bring in one of the guys like Fisher or Leno and they will have addressed it later than I would have liked but earlier than they needed to for it to matter on the field

I have many feelings about this. I think these rumors are the Bears themselves floating this idea to try to get a better rate or field improvements from the Park District. Bears pay $6.3m per season for the smallest stadium with one of the worst field conditions. The Cowboys apparently pay $2m/per.

It would be so cool to host a Super Bowl but there should be absolutely no public money given to the team and I don’t see how it works without that. Even legal weed can’t solve the debt issues this state has.

 

Fuck suburban-site sports stadiums. Stop doing that lmao.

It is sooooo much better to be able to experience city life before and after games, than going to some parking lot in a part of town with nothing but concrete and townhouses.
