In coverage yeah. He defends passing routes a lot more tenaciously than most LB. that’s what I like about Cox. Typical LB play like they are just afraid to make a mistake when they drop back

Yeah I realize that’s what it typically refers to haha. I really more so meant players that show a lot of tenacity and determination. That’s like, exclusively what the Cowboys draft, players whose effort and intensity jumps off the tape. I love the way they draft lately.

 

Can’t lie jealous of Dallas getting parsons and cox

 

At least Parsons is incredibly easy to root against

 

I don’t think he would dominate the same way without a literally elite line around him. His flaws really got covered up.

if we have “love” and “hate” players, he was one of my “hates” at the Senior Bowl. He could not handle the slightest bit of twitch or speed. Got beat constantly in one on one reps and in the game. Good luck with him against talented interior rushers.

 

James Jones looks 7 but sounds like he’s 29

Smith is like 6’7” with ridiculous length. He could be so much better than he was in college if coaches work on his hand placement. It would help him both pass rush and stay clean on running plays
