crazy to me that Golladay is on the same level as Samuel to you.

Golladay is above ARob for me, number one on my WR wish list in terms of free agents.

I also don’t think Teddy Bridgewater is good and didn’t even think his potential was that high as a rookie - I thought at best he’d be consistent and efficient but low volume

I like Fuller over Samuel but I’d take Samuel over Davis

 

yeah I'm not giving up a 1st rounder and more for BRown plus also paying him a big contract

rather just take Sewell at 3 and then trade back up and get a WR

Truthfully, they are probably all similar value

 

We’ll see. I think we’ve already seen what his ceiling is. Which, he is a versatile WR1 with very good vertical and strong hands in traffic

But so is Golladay... and Golladay is also bigger and faster

 

And yeah maybe ARob hasn’t had the best QBs but Golladay has always had to compete for targets... while Robinson is the de facto WR1 every season of his career

I also think that since Robinson is more of a possession / jump ball WR than a speedy route runner, timing and precision isn’t as important for him to still produce. I mean all Bortles had to do was throw it approximately over his head (give or take 3 feet) and he came down with 1400 yards / 14 TD one year lol

 

I mean, we already have a price (Tunsil) and it was 2 1sts and a 2nd...you can argue all you want that Houston overpaid, etc...but, seems pretty clear that a single 1st aint doing it unless its like, the dolphins #3 pick where the Ravens can just take Sewell or an elite WR

 

I'd be floored if the Dolphins traded #3 for Orlando Brown Jr when they could just take Penei Sewell (cost controlled on the rookie payscale and younger) with that pick.

I would give up a late first and a future first for Brown though. I think that's what it would take. Maybe even a late first and a high second rounder.

Brown Jr. also comes off as the kind of player that phone it in after getting paid...

 

Golladay has trouble getting separation, if he can improve on that he'll be a stud. I love the guy, but he's going to want a huge contract and he's definitely not staying here.

If they didn't keep Fuller my hope was going after Golladay since the Lions WR coach took a job here, and they have a good rapport

This is exactly ARob’s main flaw too though haha

ARob ran 4.6, he’s never had explosive speed. He can be shifty but he has to rely on having perfect footwork and tricky body language cause his legs aren’t that quick. And 1) that doesn’t work against elite CB1s, 2) a fast CB can make up that difference with recovery speed

 

This was rumored locally for about a month so not too surprising
