nah they won't....I would imagine they'd extend Gesicki this offseason and Smythe/Shaheen are totally fine backups/blockers. Dolphins had the most yards/TDs ever by a TD room in their franchise history this year

but still I think that what he was trying to show was how ridiculous TDN site is with the trade downs lol

The only way the Dolphins should take Pitts in the first is at 32 and if they trade back.

    The rivalry is back on

lol work was (playfully) up in arms that it couldn’t air

I’m sure the people who worked on it were not playfully up in arms that it couldn’t air

Historically, WRs dont pan out big time in Year 1; and the cases where they show up big, you're usually talking the combo of veteran QB + veteran WR as an even bigger #1 or solid #2 (think Ridley or Jefferson).

Devonte Smith might be able to break that mold because of familiarity, etc; but, I like this theory. Samuel/Smith/Parker is a solid 3WR set, and Grant fits in there nicely as a change of pace in certain sets and/or with injuries.

You also risk issues if you're paying a dude $20mil/yr while Parker is taking in less than half that and about to need to pay Gesicki.

I'm amazed the NFL let that get blocked; like, CBS doesnt have enough autonomy to let T-Mobile say their piece over Verizon? Seems shitty...

  10. Last year Panthers went all defense in the draft. Here is an all offense draft (no trades).

how far up do we think Miami could get offering 18th overall + their 2022 1st?

I wonder if there is a scenario where they take Sewell at 3 and then try to move back up to 10ish to grab Smith, Chase, or Waddle

I'm seeing in a few places that the 2022 Draft is nowhere near as loaded as this year is

    can you confirm @Night Channels?

Which is what they should do 100%. One of those three guys will be there at 9 and Denver would be foolish to not trade back if Wilson / Lawrence / Fields / Lance are gone.

    The 2022 draft stinks.

  18. 2022 has Sam Howell. That's all you need.

Outside of Stingley, Logan Brown, Thibodeaux, I would absolutely hate to be picking top 10 in that draft. And who knows what's going on with Ross.

  20. I think it's fairly impossible to judge next year's class at this point considering how silly this past season was.

At QB and WR, most definitely. It's way too early to make clear judgements on 2022 yet though.

I think it could be a very strong defensive class, particularly at EDGE and CB.

It's entirely devoid of talent at like three different positions, it's not going to be great.

It's not that bad. It won't be nearly as exciting. It doesn't have the receivers or the quarterbacks.

    OT
    EDGE
    CB
    LB

You have a couple of elite prospects at both EDGE and corner. There's not a tackle on the same level as Sewell, but Broeker and Neal are potential Top 10 overall prospects at OT. The Wisconsin OT will give them a run for their money as well.

Owen Pappoe will be one of the best ILB prospects to enter the NFL in years.

Sounds a lot like 2013 with Pickens playing the role of Hopkins.

At WR, yeah. You've got the two wideouts at Ohio State that could become first rounders but Pickens is the clear top dog. Justyn Ross is still lurking in the shadows too.

2013 had NOTHING at QB. 2022 will at least have a couple of guys (Rattler, Slovis, Howell) that could work their way into the Top 10.
