  1. it's just best to assume that Tom Brady is usually gonna make the Super Bowl until he dies.

I definitely agree, because of the salary cap and the NBA v NFL difference and a dozen other things; even Gretzky is kind of in that realm where part of why nobody is gonna hit those numbers is the game shift....but, since we were talking pure numbers, there's definitely no world where any modern player is gonna get 11 titles as the focus player of a team. Brady is singular in his own right and he's only 2/3rds the way there. Hell, Id be willing to bet we're into like, the 2050s before any franchise gets 11 SB's

  3. no wonder Aaron Rodgers has only been to one super bowl - we keep hire retread bums like Dom Capers, Mike Pettine, and Joe Barry.

Both dumb. Both have a good arm. Both never could run an offense that didn't consist of only two plays: 1. Go Long. 2. Don't.

I gotta say, had I known that everyone was waiting for Patrick Mahomes to lose to bust out their "Mahomes is only good, not great" takes, I'd have driven to Tampa myself and Tonya Hardinged Brady to avoid seeing this

lol the NFL has always had dynasties. The Steelers, the 49ers, the Cowboys etc etc. Parity is dead and Brady is just dancing on the grave haha

yeah all of that stuff is dumb. Did people even watch the Super Bowl lol. Mahomes had several outstanding throws into the end zone (or close to it) that got dropped on multiple drives. He was literally doing it all by himself that game and getting very little help from his defense, line, OR receivers

what fascinates me is the “could have been” dynasties that just couldn’t get over the hump of the actual dynasties.

Maybe the Colts are the AFC super power without the Patriots being there?

maybe the 49ers reign extends if not for Dallas?

maybe the 90’s Packers have more rings if not for Dallas?

maybe LeBron wins 2-3 more rings in Cleveland if not for Golden State. Maybe Houston.

it seems like whenever there is a dynasty there is one that could have swapped places, which is always so baffling to me.

Like it’s silly to me people are making this ALL about Brady. It really was a well rounded team win vs a team that is too dependent on their QB. Most of TB’s offensive success was running the ball.

Although I do credit Brady for calling checks at the line and making average RBs look good basically his whole career. & I do credit the fact that he singlehandedly motivated that roster to reach their potential.

But that win had so much to do with his supporting cast also being on point imo. And the Chiefs, by contrast, looked ice cold everywhere except for Mahomes
