Truthfully, Brady strikes me as the kind of dude that has to have that fire lit all the time; I just cant imagine that he'll enjoy life after he retires. And I say that knowing full well he's rich and has a super-model wife. Rodgers/Wilson/etc all seem to enjoy doing publicity and ads and such and just enjoying life...Peyton is out doing ads and SNL and all sorts of stuff in retirement...Brady does so little of any of that and has an insane diet regimen.

I honestly wouldnt be stunned if he ends up in politics within 5 years of retiring.

 

If it makes y’all feel any better, that ones the lowest one on my list hahaha.

But I actually really like Belichick’s coaching (even though he also really cheats). I wish more teams sort of shape shifted their identity week to week like that. it’s nuts cause he had a bullshit quarterback in Cleveland and still was constantly in the playoffs. It would be nuts if he could turn another mid - late round QB into gold. At heart he’s just an incredible defensive mind and I love defense so I can’t help but think it’s interesting to watch him just ad lib off of whatever the other team does.

But I get everyone hating that idea haha... I just think Belichick would be more vulnerable and easier to beat in the playoffs without Brady also so it’s not the same to me.

 

This right here is WAY worse than me suggesting Belichick wins another SB, please god no lol

Eh, I don't know if I see him getting into politics. I feel like he tries to stay out of the spotlight off the field and you rarely see him speak up about anything. I know he had the maga hat in his locker that one time but from how that played out it didn't seem like some kind of political statement and I'm pretty sure he's spoken against trump a few times since then. I'm not saying he is or isn't a trump guy, my point is more so that he tries to keep all of those things away from him and I can't see him wanting to go into that world.

I think he will retire and we won't hear from him that much.

 

I know early in his career he talked a bunch about wanting to be a Senator. Both MA senators are in their 70s. I just almost cant imagine say, 2026, he's 3 years out of the league and bored out of his damn mind and presented with the opportunity to do something that allows him to bring back all the structure and drive.

But yeah, maybe that's changed and he'll just disappear. Honestly, I see him going to either extreme and not much in between.

We just got a pretty awesome 10-part MJ 30-for 30 and I can only imagine that Brady's will be treated similarly. Not just because he's won 7 rings, but because of all the crazy ass stories over the last 20 years with him and/or the Patriots. I mean, there's a good episode on just his time at Michigan and his dad-bod combine.

I would love to see footage of Bill and Brady negotiating his contracts over the years and Brady just eating shit from Bill because he wanted to win so bad. Other than that I don’t need a Brady last dance doc for at least a long long time. I need him to retire and go away for a while and let the Jedi live peacefully for some time without the empire and Vader.
