Yeah it just wasn't real from the get-go. Zach Wilson could be legally dead at that point and the Jets would've traded Darnold for 12 and just taken Fields.

 

The whole "The Jets didn't trade Darnold for #12 overall because they weren't sure on Wilson's shoulder" makes no sense. They still had #2 overall and could have taken Lance or Fields if his shoulder was bad and still would have had #12 and a 3rd first rounder along the way. No chance that report is real.

Maybe they offered 12 for Darnold and #34 or something like that, but no chance was it 12 outright.

 

Even then they'd be dumb not to take that. Now i'm just mad at my own strawman.

 

The Dolphins-Cardinals game from this past year is on NFL Network right now and I cannot believe people say with a straight face that Tua should be replaced

Dehomme gets more shit than he deserves. He was the QB for that 2004 Moose season (Smitty was injured all year) and then in 2005 he was the QB for Smitty's triple crown season. Took us to two NFC championships and a SB. His era was more successful than Cam's era, although it is pretty close. It just ended poorly because we gave him a huge contract when he was clearly not himself anymore. And you know.....maybe that's Hurney dumped Cam when he did.

 

When I think of the Panthers I think of him and Tim Biakabutuka because I had a jersey from Marshalls.
