Well, the reason I said something is cause I agree that a team would be crazy for drafting Phillips in the first... but Myles Jack, on the other hand, *should’ve* gone in the first and it’s kinda crazy he didn’t. It was clear it was a false alarm.

Maybe teams also avoided him for another reason like, “too small to play run defense” or something. That would make more sense, if Jack being a first rounder to begin with was always media hype... cause he is on the small side for the position. He weighs less than Keanu Neal

Lions should take Rashawn Slater. Safest pick for a new regime that already has a QB to make. Almost every team in the NFL could really use a Rashawn Slater as a long term piece (I’m assuming that a team having 5 excellent, not-old linemen is nearly impossible, and there’s always at least one guy who needs to be replaced at some point). Slater can play all OL positions and looks pretty sure to be at least a top notch guard.

 

Lions should trade back as many times as possible. I hate where they're at as a team.
