He still fell cause of that report, whether it was true or not. People were afraid of his injury history.

 

I don't know what to say that. He tore his meniscus. That's a fact. And all he said was that he's aware that microfracture surgery comes with a chance of degenerative issues.

 

He literally said he understands it hurts his draft stock!

 

“Down the line, possibly I could have microfracture surgery — potentially. Who knows what will happen? Nobody knows how long anybody is going to play in this league. To play three years in this league would be above average."

Yeah but a doctor came out and confirmed he did NOT need microfracture surgery and that was wildly misreported

yeah and he was wrong and hurt his own draft stock because he even said the words “micro fracture surgery” - just that one sound byte freaked teams out. When in fact it was only mentioned that there’s a *small chance* he’ll need it much later in his career.

He wasn't wrong. He literally could still possibly have microfracture surgery - potentially

 

He was fully healed from the torn meniscus and cleared for football activity in time for UCLA’s pro day. Jack’s injury concerns weren’t nearly as serious as they were made out to be

My statement was that Jack’s injury concerns were overblown because of a misreport that made it sound like he definitely needs micro fracture surgery very soon. That is true. They took his words out of context when he was only talking about like, worst case scenario I’ll need this surgery when I’m 30 but probably not

Secondly, he fell because of injury concerns. That's literally a fact. Whether or not they were true has nothing to do with what I'm talking about.

 

Yeah but it’s nothing like Jaelan Phillips. Jack’s injury concerns were minor and taken way out of context. Phillips is the opposite, he’s had consistent injury problems and they’re being downplayed
