if Miami was dead set on one guy, they would not have traded back from 3. Its pretty clear that the move to 6 means they are perfectly comfortable taking any of the top pass catchers (or Sewell) there.

 

Steelers are gonna take Najee if he is there to them in the 1st which is why Miami has to take him at 18 if they want him

 

Why risk it at all? Take Najee at 6.

 

ESPNs mocks have consistently had the top 4 pass catchers go higher than other mock drafts I've seen

 

if Julian Edelman is a Hall of Famer, so is Jarvis Landry

they have basically identical numbers and Landry has played 26 fewer games

No he's not. None of these guys are HoFers.

 

Julian Edelman is the perfect example of why teams have their own hall of fames. He is without a doubt one of the best Patriots of all time. He deserves that. But the Pro Football Hall of Fame is for people who ascend beyond their team. The absolute best of the best. Not important cogs of good teams, or solid numbers guys. The no-doubters.

The Problem is they've let their own standard drop a bit so now there's precedent for people getting in who really shouldn't and here we are.
