the blocking TE is what allows stretch runs and tosses on the goal line. Your goal line runs become a lot more predictable / it’s easier to shut down off-tackle shit in goal line packages if you’re motioning your TE outside.

3 of those teams have multiple good receivers. So it'd make more sense for them, on paper, to add an elite TE than another WR.

idk how to explain this to you but you can literally sub Randy Moss with Kyle Pitts here and make the blocker...an offensive lineman. You literally do not have to shift him.

Pitts is very fast for his size - running in fairly straight lines / slight angles. He does not have the suddenness of a WR in short areas.

no because Ja’marr Chase constantly lined up against and beat CBS who will be in the NFL

Pitts is still more of a matchups weapon than a guy who’s gonna beat top corners split out wide
