I was mostly memeing when I said Herbert > Burreaux but I was very high on Herbert and I might end up correct. Still think Burrow is the best from class when they hang it up.

My favorite argument I’ve heard is defending blank qb because you could tell he was doing all the right things but the qb you think is questionable, “What was he doing? Why this? Why that? Who knows what he was even thinking?!? I wouldn’t want blank qb over these qbs”

ngl, I think I'm starting to come around to Pitts over Chase

It really depends what the bungles do and what shane day even is as an offensive coordinator for the chargers considering niners fans wanted him to be fired all last season

Yup, I'll say it as many times as I have to but @Swoos was right, Pitts is elite. I ended up watching all his tape I could get my hands on to prepare myself and now I'll be disappointed if Atlanta doesn't take him.

My opinion on Pitts remains unchanged. I love him as a prospect but also think the hype is now getting out of control

  7. People argue those guys over Lawrence because it's 2021 lol

Lawrence was crowned the top pick the moment he stepped on the field as Clemson's starter and he never came close to relinquishing it. I don't care that Dan Orlovsky is shouting at me, on whatever Mike Greenberg show is on at the time, that Wilson might be better. If any team actually took Wilson over Lawrence they would be crucified lol

Nah, he's absolutely a top prospect.

I have not seen a single notable person advocating for anyone other than Lawrence at 1.

I never said he wasn’t a top prospect. He’s still a TE that doesn’t have good blocking ability yet. He’s still not someone you’re gonna line up on the boundary against Jalen Ramsey or Stephon Gilmore on a regular basis. I legit think at least Chase and probably Devonta too is worth more

if you're looking to take Kyle Pitts to block then the next thing you'll be looking for is a new job

His "lack of blocking ability" is also overblown.

Blocking is a responsibility of TE in the running game. I never said he should be blocking on passing plays. But I am saying he’s not gonna stay on the field full time.

No one is using pitts for blocking, it would be stupid but also I’m sure a dumb coach would do it

Exactly so why would you draft someone who’s coming off the field half your plays in the top 5

  17. CarpetElf

chorus's #3 oklahoma city comets fan Prestigious

Because he's not coming off the field half of the time lol

idk what to tell you but Randy Moss wasn't a good blocker and they kept him out there lol

  19. Pitts' less than average blocking ability really held that Florida offense back last year

Vic fangio would probably walk out on the broncos because pitts doesn’t block, shurmur would get engram nightmares lol

For the record, Randy Moss was actually a surprisingly solid blocker in New England when he was trying, though I recognize @uuu is making a point haha

An inline tight end has to be able to block, no one is using pitts on the oline unless you’re trying to trick the defense and mismatch a linebacker off the los but literally every defensive coordinator would know and might not be able to stop it. Most wrs aren’t good blockers and when youre a db that sees pitts running at you you might flinch

  23. I'll agree with Randall that the hype is getting a little out of control. But he is still worthy of a very high draft pick.

You just made my point. He was surprisingly average, when he exerted the effort. Kyle Pitts can absolutely, 1000% already be that.

if you think Pitts can do what Moss does then that’s exactly the ridiculous hype I’m talking about.

What kind of point is this lol Moss is the best receiver of all the football I was old enough to watch...
