    Possible changes:
    -could be Eric Stokes instead of JOK for New Orleans;

    -could be Richie Grant instead of Toney for JAX;

    -Caleb Farley could go to any of the CB needy teams but I think it’s more likely he falls out of the first

    there is no chance Denver takes a WR that high lol

    I recognize the first few are out there. I wanted to spice it up and have weird picks cause what’s a draft without weird picks.

    My logic for 3 & 4: ATL wanted Fields as QB of the future, thought they were safe because Miami, and then thought they weren’t after the SF trade. SF is happy with either Lance or Fields but knew they’d miss both if they didn’t move into the top 4, as someone else would’ve traded to 3.

    Logic for 9: Sutton was hurt for a year and is in a contract year, Elway remembers Rod Smith / Ed McCaffrey and is crazy enough to think “yeah Jeudy / Devonta”. Devonta OR Jeudy could also be an outstanding slot WR

    20: Steady Eddie needs a running mate. The other safety position is a revolving door. That defense likes to use two versatile safeties interchangeably.

    22: Titans GM conducted Zaven Collins’ pro day work out drills - not one of their coaches, Jon Robinson himself. I feel like that’s unusual, no? He’s a glove fit for what they like to do on defense.

    25: rare quickness, the ability to use a WR in running formations, the ability to read screen blocks and to contribute on special teams, are all things that are going to factor in more for Meyer than the average coach. I do think Meyer himself would choose Toney. However I will also say I explicitly have Rashod Bateman falling lower than i’d LIKE him to here, because 1) the much lower weight than listed has teams questioning his physicality 2) a lot of WR needy teams also really needed something else.

    if you must, we can swap Bateman to the Bears and Moehrig to the Ravens. Ravens want another Eric Weddle anyway.

    26/32: I really get the feeling teams are higher on Rosseau and Phillips because of traits / projection than we are.

    Atlanta is smoke screening extremely well then cause from what I've been gathering it's Pitts and/or trade down rn.

    John Elway is not the GM though haha

    Hm, actually not sure about that one. But I would definitely side-eye them for choosing Zaven instead of addressing their terrible CB room or RT.

    You mean like the guy we just drafted haha

    This is the exact opposite haha. Rosseau's testing was terrible and has been used a lot by guys in the know as an example of how wrong the media can inflate players. Phillips skill-wise but injury-wise he's a lot closer to Maurice Hurst, Mark Gilbert, and Rondale Moore than Jaylon Smith and Jawaan Taylor.

    Weird opinion time / I know this isn’t the safest or most logical choice:

    I would love the Broncos taking Devonta Smith haha. If you’re really gonna double down on, goddamn Drew Lock then let’s fucking go, if he can’t win with THAT WR corps he’s done.

    Except now guess what? Whoever you draft (or sign) in 2022 now has Jerry Jeudy and Devonta Smith. Two elite college receivers who already played together and have chemistry. And you don’t even have to sign Sutton to an overpaid deal either if he underperforms after an injury.

    Like a modern day Isaac Bruce / Torry Holt lol it’d be a crazy strategy but it could also turn that offense into gold and legit help the next QB develop quickly.

    he was out all of last season and there’s no guarantee he’ll be awesome this season. I’m not pretending he doesn’t exist. There’s also the fact that teams use more than 2 receivers, and some of them do it extremely often. The last time the Broncos won a superbowl they had Demaryius Thomas, Wes Welker, and Emmanuel Sanders. Devonta Smith would be absurd in the slot haha

    I’m pretty sure hamler is supposed to be their slot receiver but yeah

    I may be wary of teams fully adopting college offenses rather than borrowing concepts from them...

    But I do acknowledge the league is getting more and more aggressive haha. Having 3 great wide receivers or corners or pass rushers is starting to be a legitimate way to win.

    They drafted a slot receiver in the second round last year after spending a first on a receiver.

    And they also had Tim Patrick emerge last year too
