Bateman is not above Chase / Devonta but I will say for anyone in here who wants to understand Bateman hype, watch the second half of his Pro Day highlights on YouTube.

the dude just runs exactly how you want a wide receiver to run. His cuts are so aggressive and lightning quick. I would say Devonta Smith / JaMarr Chase are “smoother” but Bateman really SELLS routes hard and that jumps off the tape. That was what attracted my attention when I was scouting Tyler Johnson last offseason.

Bateman runs so angry & puts his whole body into it when he sinks his hips and changes direction.

I just like to see a player’s anger be visible in their play style haha. That’s also why I love Teven Jenkins. That’s one of those “intangible”, immeasurable things that catches my attention when I’m scouting

Like, having soft hands is one thing. Having that “that’s my fucking ball and I’m gonna take it from you” attitude though, that’s that good shit

In fairness, he's clearly not approaching this offseason like he normally would since they just spent 8493734927839294757593 dollars.

I think the more reasonable argument for why that take is correct is because "Fuck Brady, I don't need to sell out for a QB. Gimme the Mond kid or whatever the fuck his name is. Josh make it work."

 

Sewell falling to 8 followed by Farley falling to 39 is something that could maybe happen and the Panthers would probably trip over themselves running to the podium.

That said though... Zaven Collins is a lot like Jamie Collins haha (and I personally think could be better), he’s exactly the kind of Swiss Army knife linebacker that Belichick’s scheme revolves around

 

I want Zaven on the Jags but the FBS defensive player of the year is not falling to 25

Joe Cullen and Chris Ash would know exactly how to use that kind of versatility.

@broken22 @Fucking Dustin I haven’t been there. Maryland crab is more like, you wanna go to the hole in the wall crab shacks on the Chesapeake Bay to get the best stuff. Yeah, the “famous” spots will give you an amazing crab cake, but it’ll be overpriced.

You want them huge lumpy ones that only cost $12? A place like The Point in Arnold MD or Sand Dollar in southern Maryland is gonna be way more worth your money. The best spots are the ones that are tucked in to a little inlet of the water, and way too small and crowded.

Also, I worked at a very simple local cafe with a basement bar in Baltimore and they had ridiculously good specials on crab cake dinners and soft shell crab sandwiches all the time. Tasted astounding, and you’re paying $18-$21 for two of them instead of like $33-$38.

The same goes for eating whole Blue Crabs, literally go to a small town on the bay and buy them from local fisher’s stands for less than half the price
