Am I the only person who actually likes numbers being coded by position?

I’m not gonna be a grumpy old man about it, but the tiering of numbers just makes it easier to not have to memorize a player’s number to immediately recognize who made the play. Not necessary for your own team of course, but for teams you’re less familiar with its helpful.

As an information science major, organization patterns like that are pleasing to me hahaha
