I took Najee Harris at 25 and openly and continuously admitted it was a luxury and silly pick that was for fun.

those are the realistic targets at 25 that I would like. Would love a pass rusher but the value is better at later picks. If those guys are all gone then I’m hoping someone else awesome fell.

could not disagree more.

I feel validated by Grant being high on teams boards. Because ive been spending a lot of time watching his tape to look for what the fuck I’m missing and wondering what’s wrong with my scouting lol. It is hard to find flaws in Grant’s game at all.

Literally every game and every senior bowl rep I watched... screamed “this dude is a perfect safety, so many teams would love this.” He’s not even scheme specific or restricted to playing free, strong, or sub/nickel. Dude can straight up do it all and is a magnet for the football.

If hes a third rounder then he’s one of the biggest steals of the draft without even checking how the rest of the draft went.

 

If teams want safeties who can man cover like corners... almost nobody got open against Grant at the Senior Bowl. He was out performing a lot of the cornerbacks there.

That’s something he has that Moehrig doesn’t, Moehrig would be best in a team that lets him roam zone coverage and read the quarterback. Grant, you can put on a slot receiver and say “shut down that third down dig route” and he will.

 

His versatility is definitely his biggest sell. Kind of like how Sewell is OT1 but Slater is OL1. Grant isn't the best free, strong, or nickel in the draft but he's one of the best at all three, which makes him the best overall in class.
