I’m really excited for andy dalton vs the packers this season lol

Just have to say cappa is a good player, somehow aaron stinnie who was waived a bunch of times and looked like shit on all his other teams looked like a really decent football player on the bucs all playoffs. Obviously since he’s an interior lineman it won’t be as noticed but it’s a really cool story.

I’m just ready to eat my crow about Fields because the more I think about it the more I think SF is taking Fields, and I do think Shanahan is great at working with QBs who need development

 

I genuinely believe Fields is gonna wind up in one of three places.

SF - Young Shanny
NE - The goat
ATL - Arthur Smith and the luxury of developing behind Matt Ryan.

Fields gonna be fine.

 

Yeah. At this point I will accept that as a fully reasonable and fair point.

better to start admitting I could be wrong now, JimFace won’t hurt as much when (for example) the niners are 9-7 and competing for a playoff spot hahaha

 

The worst case scenario for any of these young QBs is slipping to 12. That’s dooom.

 

agree lol. Eagles just need to eat their Jalen Hurts soup while they get younger in the trenches and rebuild from scratch. Howie got too cocky and his aggression caught up imo.

 

My hope is the Darnold trade takes the Panthers out of the QB hunt.

Plenty of spots in the top 10 to walk away with either Lance or Fields to the Pats.

 

Lance is pretty dope too, i mean that’s another reason why I wasnt TOO high on Fields. With Lawrence, Wilson and Lance thats 3 QBs who can process multiple reads in their offense, which is a rare showing in the NFL draft. Usually there’s 1 or 0 of those guys haha, maybe 2. It’s just hard for me to commit to the raw talent guy when there’s 3 guys who are already a couple rungs up the “make smart reads in progressions” ladder.

 

If the Eagles were targeting a QB they wouldn't have traded down

I agree, but if one falls to 12 and they've already traded down and picked up extra picks? Not the worst problem to have if you're them.

 

i think Gio Bernard is the player who has most frequently somehow ended up on my fantasy team one way or another lol
