Man that final jeoprdy answer was incredible

 

My concern is that “good” Darnold ends up being Teddy Bridgewater Part II and we get another string of 6-8 win seasons. It’s just making a move to say you did something & you can sell fans on “upside” because of how young Darnold is. I think most see through it, but they’ve supported this team through worse times.

 

I think the takeaway is not that it is shocking that the QBs did not pan out (because I think every one of those besides Bridgewater was panned at the time), but to highlight just how predictably badly paying journeyman QBs as if they’re low end proven starters via free agency has worked out

 

Gase stunk but Tannehill wasn’t bad under him, so it wasn’t surprising to see him do well elsewhere.

Darnold always showed flashes of brilliance but he would almost always erase those throws by doing several other mind-boggling things.

 

Man I’d be so stoked if some weird shit happened and the Jags got Darrisaw at 25 and Grant in the third lol

 

Darrisaw is worth trading above another team for if you really need a tackle. The top 3 tackles in this class are just all outstanding and the next 3 are very good too

 

Why would they do it or why would i vomit?

Answer 1? They shouldn't.
Answer 2? Because running the ball was legit the only thing they were successful at last year and Damien Harris/Sony Michel is fine.

yes please. He’s very good. I think this is a stacked class and we’re lucky to still have a DT like that fall to us if it happens

 

Am I crazy or did your initial post say the Eagles getting the slipper at 12? That's when I'd be mad at the Patriots. If Fields or Lance is there at 9, 10, 11 etc just go get the guy and be done with it.
