He stinks, the team just had more talent last season than the season prior. The only things they lost were anderson, shit winters and a center who should’ve stayed retired lol

I'm not sure how you can really say Darnold stinks considering how Gase ran that team into the ground.

 

I'm not sure how anyone can really say Darnold is good considering how he's been bad every single second of his NFL career. If he wasn't a first round pick, he'd be in a grocery store.

to be fair, Gase wasn't there in Darnold's rookie year and he stunk then too

 

Like, at least Wentz looked good for a season or two before imploding. You can at least look at that and say there's something there. But has Darnold ever had more than a handful of plays that look competent?

 

Cause I can compare Tannehill before and after Gase, and while he's wildly better in TEN, he was still a serviceable statistical QB with Gase.

There's a big difference between a guy putting up 65-67% completions, 2:1 TD to INT....against a guy averaging about 60% completions and ~1:1 TD to INT. And Darnold was even worse before Gase

Yeah...Darnold's one non-Gase year looks almost exactly like the season Wentz had where we are all questioning if he's even an NFL starter anymore.

 

Minnesota had him listed at 6'2 210...

I don't think it's really fair to knock him on this since the only year prior to Gase was his rookie year lol. Plenty of QB's are dogshit in their rookie year. By all means though, shit on him for the last 2

 

Its like the Josh Rosen trade that MIA made. They gave up WAYYYY too much for him off one season where he looked really incompetent. If the price changes, you understand the move, but they got way better value out of just signing a guy cheap and not giving up any draft picks (Fitzpatrick).

If Darnold's prices is like a 4th or 5th rounder, count me in on the experiment. But if the asking price is anything inside the top 60 picks, I'd rather find out how good the 6th best QB in this draft is

 

Just so long as you aren't taking the sixth best QB in the class in the top 60
