Okay. Gonna say this now:

if they take Fields, I’ve been saying all along they are one of the teams I think could stand a good chance to develop him. I also explicitly said Yung Shanny is the best coach for Trey Lance.

so before anyone wants to look up the receipts on what I said about Fields, know that if SF drafts him my perspective about him is much more optimistic. Shanahan is GREAT at establishing enough of a diverse run game to rely on misdirection and play action, and is great at designing plays that look like west coast plays to the other team but also have simplified decisions / progressions.

They seem to do really well with mobile QB who are still developing their reads - Nick Mullins and CJ Beathard are way worse than Fields and they did alright when they had to start. So yes, I could see Kyle Shanahan coaching Fields well and getting efficient numbers out of him by year 2, even with a somewhat simplified offense.
