Both things are possible but it’s also possible the business manager is playing fast and loose with what he’s framing as consensual. Either way yeah it’s very common for powerful serial sexual assaulters to have had consent with women but it doesn’t take a single thing away from how wrong the actions were for non consenting women, or in this case how wrong it was for him to put those women in that situation when they’re just trying to do their jobs.
Honestly Watson’s team has been working all this time to come up with a strong response and that being all they have is telling. You knew they’d try to pick the most suspect claim to try to cast doubt in all the others, if that’s all they got they’re in trouble.

i also loved Kyle Pitts until I realized that he’s gonna cost a top 10 pick lol. Still like him, but don’t think the value quite matches other players a team could choose in the top 10. Maybe his par value is pick 9 or 10 but that’s as high as I’m willing to go.

I missed the tweet a few posts above that mentioned Watson’s lawyers name, so when I saw “Mr. Hardin” in the section you posted I audibly said “holy shit” because aside from the spelling difference I thought that was a reference to James Harden being involved in this in some way. Glad that’s not the case!

 

I think I'd understand it if it was a dumpster fire small city like Cincy, but Washington has maybe the best possible collection of possible team names because it has so much to draw from.

 

Honestly after like 3 or 4 weeks of the season i wasnt even tripping over it anymore. Thinking about it now, it sounds so much better than any of the half dozen or so supposedly legit contenders that got leaked out last summer. Not shocked at all if they keep it.
