Primo hoagies is a chain and they are fantastic

 

Have i been treated more professionally at large chain restaurants? Generally yeah.

But I always made more money at the local ones haha. The bigger the company, the more they have labor division down to a science and the less you have that over-the-top earning potential. They also tend to suck up to customers more which leaves the server screwed in a lot of cases.

Smaller restaurants it was always easier to just be really damn good at my job and earn more responsibility on slow nights / higher stakes customers on busy nights, and make double the money. I at least was able to be tenacious, and make that job work for me somewhat, at non-chains.

 

crazy, but if we wanna keep revisiting the topic of "timed statistics don't matter".... whether a DT is fast in open space is kinda low on my priority list for scouting. To me that's one of those, "as long as he's not SLOW" things.

How is he in the trenches tho?

I love that after day 1 of free agency I am already so set with what the Jags did haha. Not even looking around for anything else to be done, also not that bothered by the moves I didn't particularly like.

In the end, it's all gravy. We were properly aggressive but also didn't overspend considering our cap space, we didn't chase big names, and we just have regular holes in our roster now, instead of giant gaping CANYONS.

Shaquill Griffin being our lone "big signing" is perfect too. I like Griffin as CB1 and Henderson / Jones / Herndon battling out CB2 and CB3. Feels more secure than putting all that pressure on Henderson to be great.

ah fair play then. i could get there being more potential for money at small restaurants for servers for sure. hell if ur in the kitchen at a small restaurant getting paid under the table u can definitely take home some decent money every week. i was working in kitchens when i was still in school living w my parents tho, so i wasnt necessarily motivated to grind 60+ hours a week. i just found the structure of chains was less stressful w a much more reasonable workload even tho it was less money/opportunity. the big horror stories i hear from small restaurants usually have to do more w owners being verbally abusive, not giving paychecks in time, pocketing tips, etc

Arbys 5 for $5.55 is responsible for me eating on a dirt cheap budget AND gaining like 15lbs my junior and senior year

 

That seems an odd choice unless his play fell way off.

 

According to some savvy Pennsylvania based businessmen, Chili’s is where business is done.

 

Also Chicken Crispers from Chili’s are the best and I’ll fight people.

 

National chains are typically mediocre if they’re supposed to be any better than fast food. Local chains are probably the sweet spot for sit down restaurants as a suburbanite - the biggest of the city stuff makes it out to me and I can get it without driving too far and it’s typically better than local spots (unless I already know the local spot is good or it’s highly recommended)

 

they offer 3 for $10

drink, small soup or salad and a choice of like 8-10 different entrees

hard to beat

 

Can he play in the slot? Ravens don't NEED another CB but why not have Humphrey + Peters + Fuller with Jimmy Smith as 4th CB when you have no pass rush

 

Oh yes I'm very high on him. Still didnt expect that 40 time.
