Re Watson these are civil lawsuits with plenty of opportunity for discovery so if this is some nefarious conspiracy it will likely come out that way imo. But I think now that there are at least 3 women going public with similar stories and claimed texts etc. it’s much much more likely that a rich powerful athlete took advantage of these women. Not that women should have to do this to be believed but filing a lawsuit and putting yourself under oath is a big deal. I’m still a little skeptical of the timing and this lawyer but I have to say in situations like this I error on the side of believing these women and that’s where I’m at right now.

Reich said yesterday that they still want a playmaking TE and Irsay said today they want another dynamic offensive playmaker (I assume this is in addition to re-signing Hilton if they get him back) and I’m not sure where they’re gonna do that if not Ertz (if you still want to call him that) so I wouldn’t necessarily count IND out on him yet

 

Even in his prime I wouldn't really call Ertz a "playmaker". It felt like he never broke any tackles. But considering the TEs available he's definitely the best option. His route running is great and should age well. I think last year was a down year and he's past his peak, but he's certainly still a useful player
