I’ve been accepting Toney for weeks. I said in another thread he was definitely Meyer’s type of receiver and an easy 1k yard guy in his scheme.

 

And it’s Urban Meyer. Dude is probably already talking to the teams he might trade up for Toney with.

This is not a dude that settles or is conservative when it comes to recruiting. Our free agency was very aggressive even though it wasn’t focused on big names.

I honestly like losing Fort and Snead as long as it means starting Malik Harrison at ILB and giving Duvernay and Proche the slot WR snaps. Harbaugh/Ravens always play stopgap vets too long instead of throwing rookies/young players into the fire.

Still hopefully add a Reddick/Ingram type to replace some of the lost production from Judon

 

Now it’s time to start, as in, this offseason not right now lol. I mentioned picks from last year and two years ago.

I said directly in DMs to you that I came around and realized Toney is a great fit and probably a hard target for us, weeks ago.

idk man we do have draft capital. And a couple players who are tradeable.

 

We already have Shenault. Toney is excellent and could definitely be the pick. So could an OT though. DL, Edge. OL. Hell, TE.

 

I also forgot we picked Taven Bryan the year before that LOL. The UF thing is even more true now than it was before. 3 years straight we took a UF player early.

I like Darrisaw, Ojulari, or Christian Barmore at 25. *If* any of them falls. Outside of that, gimme Toney.

 

Dude has a wild backstory; he was one of Rick Perry's debate coaches in 2012 ("oops") and backed him; then backed Trump for a while. But also ran for mayor on Universal Pre-k?

I totally agree that the lawyer in the Watson lawsuit seems really shady but if there really are women behind the allegations and just reading a bit of the complaint if those texts are legit I’m not going to call the women liars just because their lawyer is a scumbag. Remember that Avenatti guy was total trash but a lot of the women he represented were very credible. Not saying I think Watson did any of those things without looking into it more but I’m also not going to dismiss these allegations if there is a woman behind them without knowing more.

 

Definitely need more info re: Watson allegations. There are questionable flags with the lawyer but if the testimonies are credible, they’re credible. We’ll see what more we can know.

 

Seems like a way to try and get a quick settlement or something. Very strange.
