So, as usual, a two year deal that they maybe consider keeping him for a 3rd year because the cap savings are only $5mil versus $10+ mil in year 4. Or he gets June 1 cut if his production drops by then

 

$10 million/year over first 2 years is perfect

would have paid him that easily

 

I just think he's a replacement level player and not worth keeping on the 53 man roster, the charges just make the decision easier.
