Eh. I’ve always thought Chaisson is missing some of the functional strength to play DE... and was actually looking forward to seeing his finesse traits get a little more freedom in a 3-4

Allen is directly ready to switch to a 3-4 though haha. He already knows how to do basic coverage and showed in the 2019 Combine / Pro Day that he is agile moving laterally and backwards....

on top of just being built perfectly to play that 3-4 EDGE position.

-6’5” with great length,
-slender and hard to get a grip on,
-VERY fast for his size,
-long strider who turns the corner without wasted steps,
-better hand combat than bull rush

He was second youngest player in the draft asked to switch schemes to a role he wasnt suited for. And he looked much better as the year went on

 

Is there a site that shows / keeps up to date with roster moves and who’s on what team and how many spots they have open?

 

oh I mean yeah jury’s still out on whether he pans out or not.

I liked taking him at pick 20. Felt like the value matched the risk/reward. He’s a high potential player and I think taking some blockers off of him is gonna give him a better chance to reach it.

 

Hey for your sake I hope he ends up good, I had a third round grade on him and until he shows me he's better than that I'll remain skeptical, but I agree he has high upside I just think he's not so likely to hit it. Needs a lot to go right.

 

Bowser @ 5.5M per year is excellent. Thought he would take a 1-2 year deal and test FA again after how well he progressed last season. One of the top OLB in coverage in the entire NFL.

Tbh I’m much more worried about Urban Meyer bringing domestic abusers to our team than him drafting Fields.

I have little doubt he’ll at least be an okay NFL coach. Its possible his style of offense gets exposed against better defenses until he adjusts to the NFL’s high level of meta-strategy. But we still likely won’t be a “bad” team.

And I have little doubt he’s a good talent evaluator.

I just am nervous he will continue to not give a damn about things more important than football
