I love that tweet because it assumes you can just make someone good at QB because of his physical traits.

There are a ton of guys out there that are great athletes and can post similar numbers in a workout. Throwing out "if a team can just make him better at being a QB" is just lazy lol

 

He was very good for Arkansas this season

 

To be fair that's what Buffalo did with Josh Allen. I'd definitely apply that logic to a QB outside of the first two rounds.

 

This is true. Allen is a weird case study haha

I'm interested to see how he follows up his 2020 season. He was great but I'm pretty sure I read something about him having a good amount of intercept-able balls dropped which is a little alarming. But he is super fun to watch and I don't mind him being a little Favre-like.

He just described the athletic traits of nearly every linebacker prospect in the draft, and they too have no chance in hell of becoming starting QBs.

Genuinely no idea what he's even getting at. There's a theory there that could be good (put all the money in base salary so you can move a player rather than hope for early bargains and get stuck with a guy 3-4yrs into his deal who's a massive dead cap hit), but he's not even hinting at that.
