The more the rest of the league is cap-crunched, the better for the Patriots. We have A) plenty of space to work with, and B) can take advantage of some cap casualties to really work on the rebuild.

  15. Bens contract voids five days after the Super Bowl and he'll become a free agent / retire. So it's definitely his last year. 2022 will see 10M in dead money.

Steelers are in maybe the worst QB situation in the league lol. This is also Mason Rudolph's last year. If you don't resign him, you have zero QBs under contract for 2022 (Haskins is also on a one year deal).

Honestly tell me the difference between signing Mason Rudolph, and not having any QBs under contract.

And if you do resign Rudolph, we still have zero QBs under contract in 2022.

There's probably not a crazy argument that we have the best QB situation in the division for 2021 still

no way the Steelers are in a better place at QB than Cleveland and Baltimore??

Pitt definitely has a better QB situation than Baltimore. Baltimore has way better RB's: JK Dobbins, Gus Edwards, Lamar Jackson. But I'd take Big Ben this year over Trace.

It’s the nicest day in Wisconsin this year (BY FAR at a brisk 45 degrees) and you bet your ass I have my patio doors open to enjoy this shit

If the starters are injured, we know PIT and BAL have absolutely nothing. Didnt realize CLE had Keenum, so they at least wont lose in blowouts. So I guess I'd say CLE is in the best position regardless. But going off starters, Ben was better than Mayfield by a decent bit. Lamar is his own monster, of course...if we're going off just starters than BAL is tops.

Mix it all together I'd rather be in CIN/CLE/BAL's spot in 2022 and going forward, but in 2021, I definitely dont want CIN's position. And I'd probably call BAL/PIT a wash unless BAL massively upgrades their WRs
