Im honestly not sure a single one of those numbers is right, oddly enough. Though maybe ESPN is using the 53-man roster cap numbers instead of the Top 51 formula in that list? Or that tweet is in a drafts folder from the day after the Super Bowl?

But like, the Patriots are at $72mil on Spotrac and only $50mil on that list...and the Steelers are $5-7mil on the positive side, yet that list has them -$15mil?

 

Also, holy shit, the Falcons might be low-key the worst cap situation (after NO of course). They have a $41mil cap hit in Matt Ryan that becomes $44mil if they trade him. A $23mil cap hit in Julio thats break even if they trade him. A $21mil cap hit in Grady Jarrett that saves $6mil if traded. Jake Matthews ($20mil cap hit), Dante Fowler ($15mil cap hit), and Deione Jones ($12mil cap hit) are just as bad. And that's 70% of their cap space right there. And they have $172mil committed to just 22 guys in 2022...so, any restructures they do this year just compile.

Arthur Smith is gonna watch that whole team get traded out from under him next offseason
