His skill set and current experience also probably fits best as a 2 gap DE - pretty sure Indy shipped him off in the first place once Pagano left because they didn’t like the fit as much as a 3-tech DT

Yeah, unless he was starting next to Williams (unlikely), thats a lot to pay for a dude who cant play DE in a 4-3, and isnt a game changer at DT.

In comparison to Jamison Crowder who is the only worthwhile WR they have, is still very productive, and whose replacement would likely cost just as much if not more.
