Zion is 295 pounds. I also don't think his height matters because the dude has elite vertical. 6'6" 295 is a big fuckin dude to be doing spin moves and double clutch layups and launching off the ground so fast like that.

 

like, to look at Zion as a "small ball" power forward is how you're gonna get dominated all day in the post by him.

You haven't been watching enough lol. He consistently gets fouled and then the 7'0" center who fouled him is on the ground while he finishes the layup and lands clean. He definitely has some serious mass if he's bullying much taller players like Rudy Gobert in the post.

i can't find a single page that confirms your number. If anything, many of these pages are saying his initial listed weight of 280 might be underselling it

Not trying to get in the middle of this but Zion has lost weight and it's noticeable.

I'm pretty sure players are measured and weighed every year so if he lost 25 pounds this offseason and still came in and measured 282, that means he was over 300 before the bubble. And many articles are suggesting he gained weight over his rookie season since initially measuring at 280, so that would make sense - he dropped down to his original weight.

@CarpetElf not sure why you're trying so hard to die on the hill of "Zion Williamson is small" but really his weight and vertical matters a lot more (offensively) than his height. He absolutely is one of the biggest power forwards in the league (Defensively it definitely limits him to not have length but I was talking about how he scores.)
