Have you ever heard Bill talk about this play? It's my favorite Bill quote ever. It was something along the lines of "I looked over and they had guys coming on and coming off the field and confusion and something just didn't look right so i said no i don't want the time out."

He saw there was confusion and issues with the call and didn't want to bail them out, let them fuck up and look what happens haha

It's funny too because it's a big domino effect thing. Brady wasted a time out suuuuuper early in the second half. That meant going into that sequence, the Pats had one less time out then they needed making it a decision of WHEN to call that one time out as opposed to just an automatic decision.

It was probably only the cardinals who have the worst if not one of the worst gms in the league tho

 

Guys they honored his wish to be released as a sign of good will because he's a saint in that city. They obviously could've traded him somewhere for something.
