I think the front office had more to do with the disfunction in Philadelphia but yeah it did fall apart pretty quick. My only issue with Doug is a small one and it’s that stupid book he wrote right after he won the super bowl.

I know and that's why I hate the opportunity for Doug. It's probably his last shot at a HC job and he's doing it with one of the historically worst organizations in the league

Yes because Baalke was not going to be there and Khan could've actually fucked off for a change instead of continuing to make this one of the worst franchises in all of sports.

Then they're completely hands off and let someone else run the team. Khan is so lazy he won't even hire one fucking person. That's not a joke. We haven't cleaned house in A DECADE. THIS TEAM. We have had continuity in the front off and coaching staff FOR TEN YEARS because he doesn't want to fire someone and hire someone else himself. That is his actual stance on this.

 

this is my take and I’m going to hope, maybe in futility, that he can win in spite of a bad front office because coaches have done that occasionally before. Fuck Khan and fuck Baalke but I’m still gonna try to watch Trevor Lawrence cause we never have drafted a QB with his potential before.

Like, we almost went to a Super Bowl with a worse coach than Doug under a worse authoritarian figure than Baalke lol. Not saying THAT is happening again but this doesn’t necessarily mean no progress will be made. I still think Urban Meyer was rock bottom and Doug, Trev’s second year after a full offseason, hopefully a healthier offense… should be a de facto, noticeable improvement

if Leftwich didnt exist, he'd be perfectly fine with Pederson
