I think we’re starting to see a snowball effect where other Black coaches are sharing their own stories, so even if the Flores example doesn’t hold up super well to scrutiny, hopefully there’s enough steam from other examples like the Teryl Austin one posted earlier that can start coming together and highlight the pattern.

Also imagine seeing the success Teryl Austin had with the Lions defense and deciding before you interview him that Matt Patricia is your guy

Its really weird to me that nobody is officially saying when the BB text was. The timeline I posted a day or two back had surmised that it was from the 25th, because it didn't say "good luck tomorrow" on the interview. That would be the same day as the Daboll interview, and if the text is from anytime in the afternoon or later, completely fits with what Flores is saying.

I'll be honest, even if Flores didnt get a HC job this year (and he had two more shots lined up for jobs), he's a strong candidate in 2023 and beyond. Seems weird to immolate his whole career on flimsy evidence. I suspect he's got a strong enough case that this gets settled

 

Thats almost certainly the case though. All its gonna take is Bill saying "Person X called me to say it" or "Person X texted me" and that connection is made.

Again, just seems weird for Flores to file this while still in contention for other jobs if he didnt have something

It’s not about the Giants being responsible for Bill. If someone from the Giants told Bill they’re going with the Daboll before Flores had a chance to interview and then they did in fact hire Daboll that’s good evidence Flores’ interview was a sham. It’s a civil case so it’s not beyond a reasonable doubt, it just comes down to who you believe.
