It's just funny to me that the Jags had an obvious slam dunk candidate that checks all the boxes and could build some positive momentum and goodwill and they still wind up looking like they have no idea what they're doing.

Nice, good for Eberflus. He’s been a serious candidate enough times that it’s about time he got a shot at being a HC, and the NFC North feels like a good place to be landing

it’ll be interesting to see what they do to replace the defensive staff now, since I’m sure a bunch of the assistants will follow Flus too (maybe the OC too? Idk). I’ve seen rumblings of switching to something more like the Seattle Cover 3 so maybe it’ll be someone like Ken Norton or Kris Richard

My memories of Fangio here are not favorable but he seems well liked everywhere else

IMO he’s definitely the most interesting of the 3 choices y’all were considering. He has all the intangibles down and the players seem to love him

I think switching Chicago back to a Tampa 2 style defense will have a bit of growing pains in the immediate term (assuming that’s what he’ll do) and the OC hire will be huge for getting the most out of Fields/the QB position, but he’s a good start
