oh yes, Matt and I could not be more opposite Madden players. I tried to win anyway because “overcoming adversity” and all that but it was impossible to call situational plays that I felt comfortable with lol

 

Ah so he was a defensive specialist. A lot of people said that about @Max_123 as well. I’m curious how my Madden defense skills stack up to y’alls.

I feel like my coverage instincts, defensive playcalling / audibles knowledge, and my angles and tackling are the main skills I have in Madden that stand out. I make it pretty hard for you to find open space on the field.

On offense though I’m just okay, better at play calling than execution typically. I can be pretty good with the L stick as a ball carrier and at coming up with my own juke moves and fake motions in combo with the R stick moves. But while I can be good at passing most the time / in theory… I always get greedy or frustrated and throw too many god damn interceptions lmao

 

Joe Thomas allowed a sack ever .004 pass attempt. Their sack rate per game played is pretty equal.

 

So who’s going to be the steelers gm? Lol
