I love Dallas, it'll always be my home and I feel like it's a very underrated metroplex to live in. I also am not a fun person in general and could totally see people being bored to death by it and that's fine for sure. I've had a lot more fun in Houston as far as places to visit go

I feel if you're gonna visit a landlocked area of Texas it should be San Antonio or Austin

Otherwise may as well go down to Galveston (not far from Houston) or head further south to like Corpus Christi

I have too much driving anxiety to truly love anywhere in Texas.

I've never really liked visiting San Antonio

Loved visiting Austin way back when but after living there (and now being robbed there) I do not want to go back ever again haha

I haven't lived in Austin since around 2009, but I do think San Antonio is good for a weekend trip and not much more.. they have a nice zoo, great food, and some cool architecture... most visitors I think just stick to the Riverwalk though?

I've only been to Dallas in Texas and that was on a layover for a flight

the craziest thing that I found out about Texas is that you could be driving for literally like 11 hours from one side to the other and never leave Texas lmao

on the East coat, if you started in Maine and drove south twelve hours you could legitimately hit like 10 different states

Bears setting 2nd interviews with guys for coach before hiring a GM is kind of wild

I hated New Orleans the first time I went down there because Bourbon Street was under construction, so you're walking in these makeshift hallways covered by scaffolding. Just a horrible experience.

We went back and spent some time of Frenchman Street and found some all-time great food. It changed my opinion of the city overnight.

I have no desire to ever go back to Bourbon.

I need Dustin's wife to show me around cause all your food recommendations would be useless to my wife and I :(
