that makes sense. Would be wild to see a team get real spiteful and fire a coach and then not let them interview until the contract / payments were up. Wouldn’t make sense but if the contract was guaranteed anyway, why not! I’d like to see that someday…

 

you’re talking to a black / mixed guy from Jacksonville FL so don’t think I don’t know what you mean hahaha. But I also think major cities in the south at least can be very underrated.

Living in the suburbs or the countryside in the Deep South, not so much. I couldn’t waste months let alone years of my life doing that. But that said. ATL / New Orleans are two of my top 10 cities in the country very easily. Atlanta is probably top five.

 

Gonna be in Huntsville for the first time in December. Excited.

Gannon seems like a guy a lot of people in the league have liked for a while. His statistical resume is not that impressive. Doesn’t mean he can’t be a good head coach. It’s not like Pete Carroll is out there reinventing the wheel on offense with some stellar players on that side of the ball. Maybe Gannon establishes a positive culture that the Texans so desperately need for once in their forsaken franchise history.

Is it surprising that he’s getting so many interviews? I guess so, but I was hearing even back when the Eagles hired him that people around the league saw him as a future HC.
